952. Karim Pertew from New York (2010/06/04) Thank you for your thorough article on single use diapers. My wife and I began with them, then to G diapers that were difficult to flush, back to recycled single use, then finally to cloth diapers. It took some implementing and a good system for keeping them and bulk washing to save energy and water. Anyway, we did it and it feels good while saving us $120 or more each month. Thanks again! 955. BruceA from NSW Australia (2010/06/14) Hi, I've just read your blog on the ER4YT. I too was wary of this book until I tried it. I have suffered from Psoriasis for 22 years. I was tired of Dr's medications and the high cost associated with this terrible disease. So, I gave it a go, with nothing to lose. After 3 weeks on the "O" type diet, my Psoriasis was 50% better, after 8 weeks it had totally dissapeared along with the excruciating pain of psoriatic arthritis. I was living on anti-inflam's and prednisone on and off before this diet. I was totally off all pain killers and topical creams. So, after being psoriasis clear for 2 years, the first time in 22 years I returned to a "normal" diet eating everything I had done before, now the pain has returned and so has my psoriasis. I'm also back on anti inflammatories again and can hardly walk because of the pain. I'm giving this diet a go again. It was the only thing that has worked. Dr's are good at writing out scripts, but with this diet it does teach good nutrition. In saying that, my diet was what I considered very nutritious anyway with wholesome foods. Cutting out grain based foods and dairy that this diet suggested for my blood type, I felt years younger and psoriasis free. there are parts of the book I still can't fathom and his explanation of why we can't eat certian foods does seem unclear, I must say it has had remarkeable benefits for me.
